CORONALESS

Excellent grade Glass/Epoxy material made with vacuum casting

CORONALESS is made through the process that epoxy resin is impregnated into glass fabric in a vacuum cast mold and then thermal cured.Therefore air bubbles which cause partial discharge (Corona) can not be involved in.

Square shaft is also available with machining a board into a square bar.

Epoxy resin is vacuum impregnated into glass fabric so entirely that CORONALESS appears to be translucent.

 

■Properies

  • Excellent in flatwise insulation property.
  • Reliable under high voltage and/or high current.
  • Suitable for insulation parts installed in the place where air tightness or oil tightness are required.
  • Excellent in mechanical strength.
  • Durable for use under such low temperature as liquid Helium.

  • Insulation cylinder or actuating shaft of small size Oli circuit breaker.
