WOODLYTE is used for the following applications for more than 70 years.

 

Applications

  1. Rather large insulation parts required of mechanical strength.
  2. Insulation parts installed in oil
  3. Shaft of Live-line tools.
  4. Mechanical parts which must not be made of metal , and must have enough strength.
  5. In the case when general wood material can not meet hardness and strength requirement , or when must meet homogeneity requirement.
  6. Craft work which make use of woodgrain appearance of WOODLYTE.

Properties

  1. Both Insulating property and Mechanical strength do not decay not only in Oil but also in the Air.
  2. Even after water soaking treatment ,insulating resistance recovers soon ,and further delamination ,warpage, or crack do not appear.
  3. Compared with Oil-impregnated-wood or Paraffin-impregnated- wood,so far excellent in Insulating property.
  4. With homogeneity of composition ,Mechanical strength or Water resistance is stable compared to the above wood.
  5. Excellent in Humidity,Heat and Chemical resistance.
  6. Buff finish gives graceful glaze to Wood grain appearance.

Classification

WOODLYTE has a couple of types of products,"SS-type and AS-type",according to the way how veneers are laminated as follows.

Round bar,Square bar or Long products are made by machining SS-type board.

WOODLYTE SS-tube ,which is made by winding SS-type board along grain direction ,is also available.

WOODLYTE SS-type board has the merit of being made into large area product and also has quality stability which is unaffected by grain directions.

WOODLYTE bar and WOODLYTE tube (WL-4003) are made on the same method as decribed avove.

Specific gravity of WL-4001 is 1.2、and WL-4005 is 1.0.

(AS-type)

Veneers are laminated in each direction of wood grain one after the other.

AS-type products has the same performance in each (Length / Width ) direction

Large area products are available.

Specific gravity of WL-4002 is 1.2, and WL-4006 is 1.0.

WOODLYTE SS-tube which is made by winding SS-type board along grain direction.

Specific gravity is 1.1。

*4.Diameter of bar is available in increments of 0.5mm up to 20mm.Customized diameter is also negotiable.
