Safety instructions

Please read the followings to use our products correctly.

Otherwise there is a possibility that it could lead to fire or electrical shock.

danger

[Operation]

It could lead to electrical shock.

Do not touch the Hot line terminal (including cast resin surface).

[Maintenance]

It could lead to electrical shock or injury.

Maintenance and inspections should only be performed by an experienced electrician.

It could lead to electrical shock.

In case of touching to Hot line terminal (including mold surface), make sure to check the transformer is disconnected from the circuit and check the grounding of it.

Make sure daily

Output value is normal and there is no abnormal sound and odor. Make sure whether any other abnormality is detected or not.

When short circuit happened on the main circuit

Property of the CT or VT might be damaged by over current. In such case, inspect it, and if there is any abnormality please replace the CT or VT.

When primary fuse of voltage transformer is blown

Check the following items and if there is something applicable, please replace the VT.

(1) No deformation or no crack on the appearance. No abnormal odor.

(2) No rust, no corrosion, no shape change, no overheat trace and no tracking trace on the terminals.

(3) Insulation level between primary and secondary is enough. (More than 100MΩ by 1000V megger)

(4) Insulation resistance of both the primary winding and the secondary winding are normal level.

Even though no abnormality is detected ,the fuse might have had age deterioration.Furthermore if the fuse is not blown,it might have deterioration of element. In this case, replace both of the fuses.

If the new fuses are blown soon after the replacement, please replace the VT. There might be some abnormality in the VT.

Periodic inspection with no power applied

Make visual inspection, and check such abnormality as deformation, crack, rust , corrosion, overheat trace or discharge trace. Then wipe off dust and retighten screws of terminals.
