最初に東日本大震災で被災されました多くの方々に対し心より、お見舞申しあげます。
　さて、今回50年間務めました社長の座を譲り代表取締役会長兼CEOに就任いたすことになりました。50年前の1961年7月に創業者である父を亡くし、31才でその跡を引き継ぎ今日まで多くの皆様方のご支援と、その時々の従業員の協力により、今日まで到りました。
　その間、数え切れない程の景気の変動を経験し、幾多の困難にも直面いたしました。
　その都度、全力を尽くし問題解決に取り組み努力してまいりました。しかしながら今日までの50年の長きにわたり、私が社長として無事その職を果たすことができましたのは、先に申しあげましたごとく、当社に関係のある多くの皆様方のご支援ご高配があってのことと、いまひとつ、幸運に恵まれたことに尽きるかと存じております。
　わが身を顧みて、私自身の能力や努力は、その大きな要因ではなかったと現在考えております。そして私自身、社長を辞し、大局的見地より会長として当社の今後の行き方等経営面よりアドバイスをし、経営の執行は新社長等に任せても、経営の責任は社長とともに持つためCEOに就任いたしました。
　この人事は、既に数年前より当社90周年に行うつもりでおりました。この5〜6年間は、そのために必要と考えられる数々の問題を解決するための期間と考えておりました。5〜6年という限られた時間内でありましたが、全社的にグレードアップ作戦と称して、財務面、設備面、開発面、施設面、人事面および営業面等全てに亘り、そのグレードを一段と上げる努力を致してまいりました。
　十分満足とは言えませんが、何とかバトンタッチできる状態になったのではないかと思っております。
　最後に、今後とも皆様方のご支援お引き立てを切にお願い申しあげ、社長辞任、会長CEO就任のご挨拶とさせていただきます。

First of all, I express my deep sympathy to people who were stuck by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Now I would like to announce that I pass my position to my successor and assume the position of Chairman & CEO after being president for 50 years.

I recall that I took over the position of the president of Risho Kogyo in July of 1961 because the founder, my father, passed away when I was 31 years old. Substantial support by my employees made me the person I am today.

I experienced a lot of business fluctuation and difficulties, however I trust I could overcome these difficulties not by my effort but support by many people.
Please be noted that I still have responsibilities for the management of this company with the new president. This has been already planed for several years to be carried out on the 90th anniversary of our foundation. I regarded last 5 to 6 years as period to address the issues before taking over the position of Chairman & CEO.

I appreciate your continual support and would like to close greetings with resignation of president position and giving my inaugural address of Chairman & CEO.
